Colorgen has become a full member of BCF. Alex Stevenson, Chairman, was previously a serving Council Member of the SPBIM and served on the steering committee which led that organisation into membership of the British Coatings Federation. Clive Surridge, Technical Manager, has previously served on the BCF Technical Committee.

BCF is a very active organisation which frequently and productively lobbies  Government in UK and Brussells on coatings related matters, in addition to assisting it's smaller members with some of the administratively onerous issues of industrial compliance. An organisation which truly serves it's members well !

Tim Farrant joined Colorgen on 12th January in the role of factory operative. Tim was previously with Becker Paints in Haverhill for many years, and is widely experienced in all aspects of surface coatings manufacture, possessing experience and qualifications in production, quality control, colour matching, and most importantly in a manufacturing environment, Health and Safety.

Our Range of UV Flexo inks has been independently tested and accredited for heavy metal and bromine content - accreditation was received in November 2008.

Colorgen has shipped it's first significant quantites of product to overseas clients, in the Middle and Far East, and in Oceania.
